This is a tour exploring the ancient burial mounds of Gyoda, alive with history and romance, alongside "kofun singer" Marikofun. It will be a luxurious full day allowing you to fully experience the historical depth of Gyoda City, starting with the Sakitama Kofun Cluster (a Special National Historic Site), a special public opening of the Jizozuka Kofun normally closed to the public, a visit to the stone chamber of the Hachimanyama Kofun, and even the kofun at Omi Shinkonji Temple. A guide who has appeared on popular NHK programs will explain the charms of ancient burial mounds in detail. A Kofun Festival will also be held the day after the tour, which is expected to bring even more excitement.
