Wako Sports Island Autumn Fireworks Festival

The 'Wako Sports Island Autumn Fireworks Festival,' held for the first time in Wako City, Saitama Prefecture, will take place at Wako Sports Island (Wako City Urban Aqua Park). From the viewing area set up right next to the launch site, approximately 600 fireworks are scheduled to be launched synchronized to music for about 30 minutes. Around 30 food, beverage, and merchandise stalls will open at the venue, along with sports trial booths, making it an event that can be enjoyed all day long. Tickets are paid tickets requiring advance reservation (via electronic ticket service 'teket'). For safety reasons, viewing around the perimeter of the venue is prohibited, and viewing from Sakitama Bridge or near the Lawson along National Route 254 is not permitted. There is no parking for general visitors at the venue, but paid bicycle parking is available. Regarding bringing food and drinks, alcoholic beverages are prohibited, though non-alcoholic beer will be sold on-site. Eating and drinking are permitted only in designated areas. Visitors are asked to follow good manners, such as disposing of trash in the provided garbage bins.
