For 5 days from Saturday, September 19 to Wednesday (public holiday), September 23, 2026, the "Ueno Zoku Summer Festival" will be held for the first time at Ueno Onshi Park in Taito Ward, Tokyo. This event is a large-scale horror event fully produced for the first time by "Takku TV Radio", a video creator who has gained popularity for ghost stories and urban legend content. At the venue, a diverse range of content will be presented, including stage programs such as ghost story yose performances by a star-studded lineup of storytellers and horror movie screenings, horror Bon Odori dancing, sales of horror-themed food and event-exclusive merchandise, and food trucks. Admission is free so you can enjoy it casually, and it is likely to attract attention not only from horror fans, but also as a Silver Week holiday destination. The biggest highlight is the ability to experience in real life the unique worldview of Takku TV Radio, allowing you to feel the world of ghost stories and horror—previously enjoyed through video—on the scale unique to an outdoor event. While some stages and contents require a fee, you can casually enjoy the booths, food area, and festive atmosphere within the venue.
