Onshi-Hakone-Koen Park Guided Tour

This is a free guided tour held at Onshi-Hakone-Koen Park. While strolling through the park with park staff, you can learn about the history of one of Hakone's premier gardens and the charm of its plants. Located on the Togashima peninsula jutting out into Lake Ashi, this former site of the Hakone Imperial Villa is a scenic spot offering panoramic views of the lake, the surrounding caldera mountains, and, weather permitting, Mount Fuji. The Lakeside Observation Building standing in the center conveys the remnants of the former imperial villa. The tour lasts about 30 to 45 minutes, with a capacity of about 10 people. Prior contact with the park management office is required. Participating in comfortable walking shoes is recommended.
