Announced on the Suwa City official website, the "26th Suwa City Agricultural Festival & 22nd JA Shinshu Suwa Agricultural Festival" is an event aimed at promoting local production for local consumption and deepening cooperation between producers and consumers. At the venue, fresh fruits and vegetables harvested from Suwa's fields will be sold at bargain prices. It is also packed with activities that parents and children can enjoy together, featuring popular attractions such as the alpaca petting corner, the Soreike! Anpanman Show, goldfish scooping, and a gathering of working vehicles. In addition, there is an extensive craft corner where everyone from children to adults can become immersed. Special products from Ushiroyama will also be sold in limited quantities. Stage events will include taiko drumming, shovel shamisen, and enka gymnastics, as well as a choir performance by a local elementary school. Flower craft workshops and an agricultural consultation corner are also provided. Food-related enjoyment is plentiful, with bargain sales of local agricultural produce and JA household goods, a food drive corner, kitchen cars (food trucks), and grocery sales corners.
