3rd Kyoto Future Creation Festival Mirabon!! ~Opening the Future, Bon Festival~

About this event

Held under the theme 'Mirabon!! ~Opening the Future, Bon Festival~', the '3rd Kyoto Future Creation Festival' is an experiential event enjoyable for both children and adults where they can 'see, learn, play, and challenge' the future. In the Okazaki Park Lawn Area, a JC Park equipped with outdoor play equipment and water play attractions will be set up. Inside Rohm Theatre Kyoto, an indoor JC Park equipped with educational toys where small children can play safely is also provided. In addition, in the Okazaki Park Lawn Area, 'Future Job Experiences' will be held to nurture children's curiosity, offering experiences of future jobs and cutting-edge technologies such as drone piloting, VR experiences, cyber investigations, and 3D printers. In the Okazaki Park Approach (Sando) Area, food booths offering popular gourmet food, future food, and world cuisine, as well as corporate booths showcasing local companies' charms, will line up for families to enjoy all day. On August 21, the student stage 'The Future Begins Here' and an opening forum 'KYOTO FUTURE TALK ~Painting Kyoto's Future Together~' welcoming Kyoto Mayor Koji Matsui and others will take place. On August 22, a Guinness World Record challenge and a special talk by Obata no Onisan and Koji Saikawa will be held as the Kyoto Junior Chamber 75th Anniversary Memorial Forum. The finale of the event is a Bon Fes Live under the theme 'Mirabon Opening!! Kyoto's Light, Connecting to the Future!', creating a new Bon festival colored with DJ music and lanterns for all generations to enjoy. It is a 2-day event for the entire family, perfect for making summer vacation memories and independent research projects.
