Kashihara City 70th Municipal Anniversary Project: Wadaiko Group YAMATO

From Nara to the world: this is a special performance celebrating the 70th anniversary of Kashihara's municipal status by 'YAMATO,' a Japanese taiko drumming group based in Asuka that travels the globe. Said to have thrilled 10 million people across 55 countries worldwide, their overwhelming taiko performance is a must-see. A powerful stage performance unfolds, inviting you into uncharted realms of Japanese drumming. Because this performance is part of the Kashihara City 70th Anniversary Project, it is offered at special pricing. Tickets are 2,000 yen for general admission and 1,000 yen for junior high school students and younger, with all seats reserved. Tickets are required from age 4 and up; children aged 3 and younger cannot enter. Preschool children must purchase seats adjacent to their guardians. Please note that children of elementary school age and younger cannot enter alone. Ticket sales begin on Saturday, July 25, 2026.
