About this event
A moon viewing festival honoring the famous moon over Mount Miwa. Held at Omiwa Shrine, kagura dance by shrine maidens (miko) and gagaku court music performances by Shinto priests are dedicated before the altar. It is a traditional festival held in an enchanting atmosphere under the clear autumn night sky.
