Annaka City Comprehensive Athletic Park Athletic Field Opening Event [Track and Field]

About this event

A track and field opening event will be held at Annaka City Comprehensive Athletic Park Athletic Field. An opening ceremony and commemorative photo session will take place on the day. Following that, a track and field clinic and a mini time trial meet will be conducted. The track and field clinic will invite three instructors—Tomoko Ishida (Hasegawa Sports Facilities), Wakana Kabasawa (Mitsui Sumitomo Insurance), and Shoi Sugano (Tokyo University of Agriculture Second High School)—to provide specialized coaching for individuals (1st grade of elementary school to 3rd grade of high school living or studying in the city) and groups (1st grade of elementary school to 3rd grade of high school belonging to junior high/high school track and field teams or club teams in the city). The mini time trial meet will have elementary, junior high, and high school students compete in the 100m, 800m, and 50m hurdles. The capacity is approximately 100 participants, and application is required for both individuals and groups. The application deadline is Friday, August 14, 2026 (Reiwa 8).
