About this event
The 8th annual regular summer event "Summer Andon Night 2026" will be held in the front garden of the Minato City Local History Museum. At this event, visitors can experience a one-night-only magical atmosphere where miniature lanterns (mini-andon) handcrafted with care by participants gently sway on the water surface against the backdrop of the historic museum building. The special summer workshop "Let's Make Mini-Andon Together" to create lanterns for the event will be held on July 25, 26, August 2, 9, 10, 11, 15, and 16, and participation is warmly welcomed. Please enjoy the beautiful scenery woven by light and water on this special night.
