At Suzaka City Zoo in Suzaka City, Nagano Prefecture, "Saturday Night ZOO" will be held every Saturday from August 1 (Sat) to August 29 (Sat), 2026. The opening hours are extended until 9:00 PM, providing a special opportunity to observe nocturnal animals that usually sleep during the day actively moving around. The event offers a wide variety of unique nighttime programs, including guinea pig petting, special guided tours, and feeding experiences. Under this year's theme, "Lots of Fun Discoveries at the Night Zoo!", diverse and engaging events are held each day, such as Try Being a Raccoon!, Stamp Rally, Oden Square, Finding Night Animals!, Humboldt Penguin Feeding Experience, Prairie Dog Mini Uchiwa Fan Making, Capybara Delicious Night, Black Kite Kaku-san's Walking Time, Solve the Mystery of Domestic Animals!, Japanese Raccoon Dog Ecology Guide, Red Kangaroo Feeding Experience, Japanese Deer Guide, Raccoon Dinner Time, Nighttime Birds of Prey Guide, and Masked Palm Civet Night Dining Guide.
